Betsy is currently an associate with McCay, Kiddy & Associates, LLC. She joined the firm in July 2005 as the staff bookkeeper, and was promoted to an Associate in July 2007. Her responsibilities include overseeing the bookkeeping department, which includes monthly write-up services, payroll tax compliance, and sales tax compliance. She is responsible for preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. In addition, she is responsible for planning and performing compilation, review, and audit engagements. Betsy is continuing her education in accounting through the College of Charleston in preparation to sit for the CPA exam.
Betsy was raised here in Mount Pleasant, and graduated from Wando High School. She currently lives in North Charleston with her husband Donald. Donald and Betsy have an amazing baby boy, Jack, a chocolate lab named Dixie, and three fluffy kitties. When Betsy is not working, going to school, or being a mom, she enjoys reading and writing, working with old friends at Spoleto Festival USA and the American Heart Association, and relaxing with her son and husband.
